After a week of door-knocking, leaflet drops, community fairs, events, and much more, week one has been a barnstormer for Jenny and the team. Despite the national headlines and polling, we're bucking the trend here in Wirral West. We've been gaining new members, donors, and supporters as we trailblaze across the constituency, from Heswall to Hoylake and Thurstaston to Thornton Hough.
At the doorstep, it's clear there's little enthusiasm for Starmer or Labour. After nine years of Labour in Wirral West, people are ready for a change. They want a better deal for our area and an MP who lives locally and raises a family here. Voters have seen what local Conservative councillors can achieve even with a Labour council—imagine the possibilities with Jenny Johnson as our Conservative MP.
