Following a request from Dr. Forster of the Heswall & Pensby Group Practice, who is mindful of the difficulties that are likely to be faced trying to give flu jabs this year, Councillor A Hodson has spoken to officers from Wirral Borough Councillor to arrange a system so that residents can receive their flu jabs in September by attending a drive-through centre. Hopefully this will be based at Pensby Secondary School.
Councillor Hodson is liaising with officers and the surgery to provide a safe, alternative service if socialdistancing means it would be difficult for 4000 patients requiring the jab to attend the surgery directly
