Last month, Jenny, along with local Conservative councillors Helen Cameron (Clatterbridge ward) and Max Booth (Hoylake, Meols & Central West Kirby ward), had a busy day of action in Woodchurch. They engaged in various activities including litter picking, interacting with local police units, and assisting residents with the help of local employment teams from Involve NW.
This vibrant day was part of the EVOLVE Wirral action day, supported by representatives from the council, Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, local councillors, and other partners.
Jenny participated in litter picks along Hoole Road, Pemberton Road, Meadow Cress, and other areas, engaging with residents and listening to their concerns. She also collaborated with local fire and police teams to enhance support networks for residents and address hotspots of anti-social behavior. After a quick coffee and biscuit at the Hoole Community Hub, they spoke with Involve North West to explore their local employment and skills workshops.
These action days aim to foster community pride and provide practical support to residents on various issues affecting their quality of life. Jenny has a plan to build on these initiatives, and if elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Wirral West, she intends to begin supporting the communities of Upton and Woodchurch from day one.
Jenny and her team are committed to serving the residents of Upton and Woodchurch with more action days and local investment plans to enhance the locality.
