We're into the final few days...Jenny needs your support
Finally into the last week - it's been an incredible (nearly) six weeks of hard campaigning on the streets across Wirral West.
What has Jenny learned?
Well - three key things really.
Number 1: People are cross with the Government - very cross. But you want a local Member of Parliament who lives locally, works locally and represents you locally. I cannot do this if you do not look past national Government (which will more than likely be Labour this time next week) and think about who you want to represent you locally. Jenny will put Wirral West before Westminster.
Number 2: You do not want to have three Labour MP's in Wirral, supporting a Labour Council, Labour metro Mayor, Labour Police Commissioner and a Labour Government with no-one to stand up to them for you. If you do not go out and vote for Jenny, you will have another Labour MP.
Number 3: You may be attracted to Reform UK. I understand this - of course I do. But this is not their time. Reform are too small - you will not get a Reform MP; you will simply split my vote. You may be tempted to stay at home, and not vote. I understand this - but you will get a Labour MP who put the Labour Party ahead of Wirral West.
Think about Thursday carefully. It is likely you will end up with a Labour Government. But who do you want representing you locally? Another Labour MP supporting a Labour Council, and marking each others homework? Or, someone who will stand up for you always, over and above anything else. With a track record of voting against Greenbelt development, scrutinising council funds and speaking up for our area!
